Holmesdale Radio have an exclusive debate with GARETH SOUTHGATE and Steve Parish regarding the EPPP at 8pm tonight.
Elite Player Peformance Plan which has been brought in to attempt to overhaul the coaching of top players in the game to enable the national team to better compete on the international stage.
Many aspects of this plan are sensible and beneficial to the English game, however certain aspects are potentially catastrophically damaging to the academy system in the football league.
This has caused outrage from those affected, but in spite of this the vote was passed by the Football League clubs - the reasons for this and further details are avilable here: the72unite.co.uk
HOL Radio has been able to arrange some time with the FA Head of Elite development, GARETH SOUTHGATE, who many of you know is himself a product of the CPFC acadmey.
GARETH feels there is a degree of misunderstanding and is giving up his time to talk directly to supporters about the EPPP.
In addition to hearing from GARETH and talking with him about the genesis of the plan and the reasons it has been implemented, we will be welcoming CPFC Co-Chairman Steve Parish, who has been openly critical of aspects of this plan.
Steve has requested to appear so he can debate the EPPP with GARETH and get some answers to the questions many fans have about this proposal.
